Workshops
Here is a selection of workshops I have facilitated in the past (shout out to the amazing Wellmama team that co-created all these workshops!).
I am not running any workshops at the moment, but if you’re interested in any of these drop me an email and I will keep you posted about upcoming dates.
If there is a group of at least 3 of you and you would like me to come to your location and offer a workshop, get in touch and we can see what works.
For organisations that have funding to deliver free classes and programmes: if you are interested in offering any of the workshops below to your clients, please get in touch.

Birth Story Healing
Birth doesn’t always go the way you wanted it to. You can be left feeling hurt, upset, disappointed, angry, guilty, lost. In this workshop, you will re-tell your birth story as part of a healing journey. The one-day workshop will include:
- Drumming relaxation
- Birth story sharing
- Body-mapping (a creative, arts-based method to visualise how we feel in our bodies)
- Listening from the heart and finding the words to rewrite your story
- Guided visualization
No matter how long ago you experienced a difficult birth – weeks, months, or years – you are welcome to join. If your baby is still small, feel free to bring them to the workshop! We will work around feeding times and other needs.
We use trauma-informed techniques to avoid re-traumatisation. We will create a safe space where you and your experience are honoured, witnessed and transformed.
COST: 110 EUROS incl. light lunch

Rising Up – Feminist Tools for Birthing Autonomy
A monthly online programme for mamas, mamas-to-be and birth workers who want to dive deep and unpack the politics of birth. We explore the social norms and deeply engrained patriarchal, capitalist structures that are the root of trauma, disrespect, and lack of autonomy in our birth culture.
Through hands-on exercises, creative tools and group discussions, we practice self-exploration, intuition and critical consciousness.
Whether you are pregnant, or a mama, or a birth worker supporting birthing people – this programme will help you make sense of your own or others’ birth experiences and prepare you for more empowered, autonomous births in the future.
Together we discover all the things we need to rewild within ourselves to change birth.
A different theme each month! You can join any or all of these. Themes include:
- We are wild animals. How to give birth like a cat, or: the physiology of mammalian birth.
- One Born Every Minute. What we are told about birth by the TV and others, and how that affects us.
- Knowledge is power. Research evidence, the ‘truth’, and where to find it.
- What I need. Identifying and expressing our needs, and why that is so hard.
- Knowing from within. Practicing intuition.
- Speaking Up. Facing medical authority and how to tap into your inner warrior.
- Our bodies, ourselves. Exploring our relationship with our bodies, our strength and our pain.
- The threshold. How do we cope with the spiritual and emotional intensity of birth?
COST: 30 EUR per monthly session. If you want to take part and this is not affordable for you, get in touch and we will work it out.

Self-Care Programme
SELF CARE TECHNIQUES FOR PREGNANT WOMEN AND NEW MUMS
We cover a different self-care technique every week, including breathing, reawakening your resources, organising your day, creating community, affirmations and meditation, creative activities such as painting and singing, and connecting to nature.
A wellbeing pack will to be posted out to each of the participants. There will be an activity at the end of each week for women to practice at home. Group sessions will include check-ins and open questions and answers.

What Women Have Said
Here are some kind words from some wonderful women that have attended these workshops.
“Good vibes! Everything was so interesting and thought-provoking. I am taking away from the workshop: the power of me and my body. To trust my instinct and to be calm. Women’s intelligent design and how special that is.”
“Having a doula to support me before, during, and after the birth of my son was invaluable. The workshops gave me the ability to empathise with women in a similar life stage as myself. I would absolutely recommend this amazing group of doulas to any woman.”
“I definitely feel more prepared for the birth after the workshop. I feel more calm and ‘ready’. The workshop made me feel very supported and safe. Hearing the birth stories was very useful and getting to ask questions about the hospital protocol.”
“The mix of points of view of a doula, a midwife and another mother made the workshop very complete and powerful. I feel very reassured and more informed.”
Claudia, first time Mum, Tipperary
“I liked everything about the workshop! This will EASE you! Chatting to women with experience and the same worries as me. Support, belly massage, hypnobirthing – amazing day, thank you!”
“I am taking away more confidence to use my voice more, about what feels right to me. It was too short, I just so enjoyed it!”
